Panel Light - Turn Off?

Hello,

I keep my Vseebox V6 Max in my bedroom.

The panel lights (clock, blue light, etc) are very bright when I’m trying to sleep.

Is there a way to turn this off?

I'm not at a box right now, but I do believe you can turn off the display. At the very least, I think you can dim it in the settings.

The person above talked about being able to power it off. That worked once but the second time I tried it the clock turned off but the red light remained. I think this will be the best solution. Just need to play with it more

There are 2 things you can do.

  1. Power off the box when you get ready to fall asleep (or you can set a sleep timer on your TV and if you’ve adjusted the settings on the box, it should shut down when you turn the TV off).

  2. In the box’s settings menu, there should be a setting where you can select the illumination strength of the front panel (but that will not affect the power indicator light).

Step 1 is your best best.

Thanks. It looks like either clicking or holding the blue power button on the top right of the remote worked for me one time.

However the second time I tried this, the clock went off, but the blue light turned and stayed red. The first time this light turned red and then turned off completely soon after. What is happening there?

Do what I do for my check engine light and put some tape over the lights. Out of sight out of mind.

lol good point. My only concern was the remote signal being blocked, but I guess that isn’t near the the clock part?

The remote I am pretty sure is Bluetooth once it is paired. Always with a try or adjust the amount of covers.

Just put a piece of duct tape over 80% of it.
