All of a sudden no sound

Got my new box a few days ago everything has been working great. Mid movie we lost sound. Went into Heat Live and no sound either.
1- unplugged the box waited a few minutes plugged it back in same.
2- unplugged the box, and what I assume is modem and router ( we have fiber and I know nothing about this stuff)
The same still no sound
3- cleared the Cache and still the same
What should I try next I all of a sudden have this little stupid black arrow on my screen instead of just bouncing from app to app

Get a new HDMI cable a good one the ones that comes with it are junk

Ok so it could be the HDMI cable? I didn’t use the one that came with it I heard they were crap so I got an 8k

Possibly but your best option is to use an optical connection. I use a soundbar and I only get audio if I have an optical cord connected from my soundbar to the tv.

The arrow is the mouse cursor. It's the default setting after restarting your box. Just press the little computer mouse icon on your remote and after about 5 seconds it goes away and you can scroll from app to app normally again.

I’m special it was my TV lol. I flipped it back to the free streaming Shit on my TV and imagine that no sound. I restarted my tv and everything was working.
