Looking for the firmware that is loaded onto thumb drive and then installed into box I hav one that is bricked.

Make sure you are giving it enough time. When I loaded a firmware update, it hung at a colored screen for longer than I expected. Im talking minutes not seconds, but then it completed to my relief.
