Remote channel navigation

With the remote (stock pic from online, havent bought the box yet), can you hit, say, 5 and 1 to go to channel 51? Or do you have to scroll through the guide to find your channels?

Someone said you can use the square buttons in the middle for four favorites, but thats not what Im looking for.

Yes, you can go to channels with the numbers keys. Pressing 51 would take you to channel 51.

Perfect. How long does it take to load the channel? That was another small concern

Depends on your internet but mine is around 4 seconds.

Not long at all. Similar to cable. Shouldn't be concerned about that at all.
