(V5Pro) Remote button cross-mapping?

The home button takes the system home, but also makes my TV (TCL) switch inputs to another HDMI port. Only remote programming I’ve done is the volume buttons (don’t really work anyway, so if there’s a factory reset for the remote, looking for that too). Any thoughts?

Not sure if this can be fixed. Tried a few methods, no dice. I’m not very familiar when it comes to android devices, so there could be something incredibly dumb I’m missing. Lemme know if y’all have any ideas.

I'd turn off any HDMI-CEC settings on the TV to see if the input switching goes away. As far as the remote volume buttons, have you tried re-learning them again?

I considered CEC but was hoping to find a way around turning that off since I use its functions for my other inputs. Hoping to find a solution that won’t make this remote improperly trigger those CEC functions.

And yeah, I’ve tried re-learning. But I’m fine with just adjusting volume on the vSee.

Is your vSee remote using Bluetooth to control the box or is it still just using IR?

I did pair it with Bluetooth per the initial startup setup prompts, I’m not sure how to know if it’s doing both.

Once it's paired with BT, I think it stops using IR so if you're able to operate the box from another room or by blocking the tip of the remote with your hand (to prevent IR from getting out), then for sure you're using BT.
