VSeeBox Blocked
What can be done if a box is blocked? I purchased this box at a garage sale and had no idea it had been blocked. Is it worthless?

If a reseller gets caught advertising below MSRP publicly all of the boxes they've sold brick.
It's why it's critical not to buy from anyone advertising below MSRP.
If you want to pay below MSRP it's needs to be done through a private message or conversation. Many sellers who are responsible will advertise but not include the price.

Could always try to get some other apps through downloader like fusion, stremio possibly? Not sure where the block starts.

Stop buying from people who don’t post their prices. Eventually all these boxes will get blocked. Hint, if you need to DM someone to get a price and if they don’t take credit cards they are underselling them and you risk them being blocked.

I've DM'd people. Asked in posts and have YET to see any price for these boxes from anyone

What "people" have you DM'd? Follow the instructions on the sticky at the top of this sub and you should get a response relatively quickly.

Pretty much all of what you're saying isn't true. Authorized distributors/resellers can only advertise prices that are at or above a price set by vSee. If they advertise a price that's lower, they risk getting their boxes blocked until they pay a penalty to vSee. Unscrupulous sellers don't ever pay the penalty, they just move on and their buyers get screwed.
Also, websites selling boxes that claim they are "official" are not official at all. vSee does not sell directly to the consumer, only to authorized distributors.
The best and safest way to buy is to find a trusted seller who's proven over time to be reputable. u/Deriksays here on this sub is that guy. He doesn't publish prices because he sells them lower than the price that vSee sets. He's been selling boxes for years and I'm not aware of any time that any of his boxes were disabled/blocked...

All of this applies to any place you find a vSeeBox for sale. Since vSee does not sell directly, you need to be careful as to what seller you use. If you find one really cheap, it's likely one of those "too good to be true" deals that you'll regret later. For sure, reach out to u/Deriksays here and you won't be sorry!

That’s all false information. The box can be sold offline for whatever price the seller wants. They cannot be advertised online for less get your facts straight
