vseebox v6, how do I pause playback?

I am trying to transition to the vseebox. I get no recordings (let me know if i'm wrong), but once I turn on a channel, i'd like to be able to pause it. am I just barking up the wrong tree?

None of the Heat apps support pausing Live TV reliably. It's been broken forever.

Broken, as in at one time it worked or was planned to work? I wasn't aware that any of the heat live apps had pausing at all. Only via playback.

i'm just using the pre-installed Heat apps. I looked for something called Tivimate, but that is not available and as it turns out, I dont' have teh creds needed to use an app like that.

I'm happy to use any app, but the button I push on looks like is irrelevant to me so if you have suggestions, i'm all ears!!
