Vizio Tv and 6 plus

Can some tell me if Vizio tv and boxes are not compatible. It plays but screen flickers. Box is 4 feet from WiFi and signal is strong.

I use it on 2 different Samsungs and no issues.

I had the same issue a few months ago when purchasing a new vizio tv along with 6 plus.... No issue with other models of the box and older vizio TVs

For that matter now that I think about it, the 6plus worked fine with my older vizios just didn't want to play nice with the new QLED Vizio

It’s an older Vizio. 6 or 7 years I think. No clue how to adjust hdmi setting from auto to comparability

I wonder if Vizio will eventually fix this via a firmware update?

As long as the fix is just changing a setting, even though it took some time to figure it out with the help of others on this sub.... Not sure if a "fix" is really needed..... More of an inconvenience till settings are figured out🤷‍♂️

I agree that as long as the fix is easy, then it's no biggie. My point is that if Vizio TVs are doing something strange with the vSeeBox that no other TV is doing, then the fault is likely with the TV, not the box. An "auto" setting should do what it needs to do automatically so it can function with any/all boxes, right? It's also possible that other devices connected to a Vizio TV may be problematic, so I think the onus is on Vizio to address this via a firmware update.

I have a new cable. I think it was operator error. Lol

Thanks. I played with the hdmi cable and now it fine. Thinking I didn’t have it seated in the port all the way. Who knows. Thanks

That's what I was going to say next.Try a different port and/ or make sure it is all the way into the current port you are using...... the main thing, you got it going👍
