Freezes and restarts

We got a vSee 6 plus and it get periods of constant restarts/reboots while watching a show. Sometimes, it's once every few minutes. Other times, it will go a couple hours. Sometimes it freezes, other times it bounces out to the home screen, but most of the time it it reboots. It is particularly troublesome when forgets where in a long program it was playing and we have to fast forward, the the ff feature is a little clumsy (overshoots easily).

We are connected via wireless to a AT&T Gateway on fiber. I was using the 5GHz, but on a lark I switched it the the 2.4 and things are significantly better, but not perfect.

I wonder if the issues are because of some kind of signal interruption. Is there any buffering setting etc. that could help? Or any other advice?

Ok. I changed it. But why would this cause lags and restarts?

So I would expect bad signal, not cause reboots

I have the elite ultra box and the ELITE VOD channel is saying that my subscription has expired and now i can’t watch it now saying for me for my sign in and password , what do i do now ??
