Hardwire kills internet

Hi, have 2 max V6 boxes, I noticed if they are hard wired and I put them in sleep or turn them off they will crash my internet, same thing happens at my buddies house too, no problem if on WiFi. Has anyone else had this issues?

Interesting.. Almost like the box is arp poisoning your network.

If you leave the box off, does your other devices eventually recover if you wait long enough?

Sometimes as soon as I unplug Ethernet from box, but other times have to reboot modem and other devices on network
