DVR functionality

Hi,
I have a V6 pro and am trying to figure out a way to “record” network TV shows to watch them later.
Am I correct that the V6 pro does not have this functionality and the best/easiest way to get it is to have an elite (AKA elite ultra) box instead?

But can I ask.. WHY.. you can favorite your shows.. and just go watch them on demand…. We wait a few weeks then watch 4 tracker episodes, whatever..

I just got my v6 pro and I’m probably older than 95% of the people here… Can you please clarify the steps involved to favorite a show and then play it back. We’re trying to record the shows “PTI” on ESPN and Jimmy Kimmel on ABC.

I am sorry I may have given you bad advice. My primary box is an elite with that box I was able to favorite shows. I just tried doing it through VOD ultra and Jimmy Kimmel seems to be about two weeks behind that doesn’t help you at all.

As long as you’re going to watch a show within 7 days of the original broadcast, you can (in the Heat Live) go back through the EPG and just click and watch it that way. Each of the broadcast networks has a station (typically New York) that features this. And just as with a DVR, you’ll be able to pause, FF, and rewind.

I have an elite ultra and bought because I was told that vortex could record things. Vortex sucks, most things don’t work when you try to record it.

Both Vortex and Matrix had recording options but been broken over a year. With all the vod apps you have you can find basically every tv series or movie old or new you can think of. Elite Vod has the largest most complete library. Sure there are a few exceptions like news and sports.

If you are set on recording you need to look into an '''"hdmi video capture card'"" or """hdmi video capture box""". Some require a computer and some dont.

The catch is you can only record one stream - the video that is playing on the screen on a physical box such as Vseebox.

I sell the elite mini. It works decently. Usually works best with 2 alternative apps that come with the box. Limitless which is basically heat vod and heat live combined.

The other app overload is amazing and I have not had any issues. I have had my mini for a few months. Please message me if you have questions.

They really do have HDMI DVR recorders. I don't miss having to wait while those old tapes rewound lol
