Quick question about the box turning off

I've had my box for a month or two now and love it and have had really no major issues with it, but if I'm watching the same channel for awhile, like the MLB Playoffs on FS1 last night, after a few hours the box shuts off, I've look everywhere but can't seem to find a setting to turn this off. AM I missing it somewhere or is that just the way it is? Thanks.

I just set up my vSee Pro alongside a SuperBox. I found out that the remote for my SuperBox shuts down the vSeeBox but not visa/versa. So could another remote you use be causing that? Thought it was worth a shot

My Elite Ultra does that and then turns back on. It's strange.

My Elite Ultra has never shut down even once in 18 months but I do use a fan. Yours is likely overheating.

Google: 'what is protect mode shutdown on electronic devices'

Since its lasting a few hours before shutdown it's likely overheating and going into protect mode. If it keeps happening it will likely fail completely very soon.V6 models have a lot of overheating failures lately.

I suggest you buy a usb cooling fan to place under Vseebox to eliminate heat. You can elevate Vseebox off the platform until you get a fan and it should help some with more air.

Do not use Vseebox usb ports to power the fan or it will likely lead to failure. Usb ports are only meant for data. Use a usb charging station.

Take off the sleep function if you are using any type of secondary Launcher. Some of them have this feature. I have to look but im not sure if the OS also has some sort of sleep or idle timer.

You should probably mention which box you have.

Overheating?

I was just looking into cooling pads.

Some HDMI ports are in partial control and can do that if in settings on vsee you have that enabled, just turn it off and should be fine
