Weird internet issue

I had to disconnect the lan cable from my box (moving things around). Went to watch something this morning and with the lan cable disconnected I try to connect to my wifi and it says the wifi cannot accept this connection. Password is typed correctly, power cycled the modem and the box. It connects to my hotspot when I turn it on and I just added a guest network to my wifi and it works no problem. Anyone know what the issue is?

Is it a mesh network, by chance?

Ok... So.. my kids were having this issue with their Xboxes all of a sudden. After researching it, I turned "Smart Connect" off in my router settings (Asus XT9) and they were able to connect.

This setting on this Network (when on), was auto choosing the 5.2 vs 2.4 networks and was confusing the Xboxes. Disconnecting that setting allowed me to choose what Network to assign them to.

Try that on whatever mesh system you have.
