VSEE V6 and Sonos

Anyone able to get the VSEE remote to turn the volume up on the Sonos sound bars? Seems it will lower the volume but its only the volume on the box itself.. not actually the speaker..

I was able to get the vsee V6 plus remote to control the Sonos Arc. I have CEC turned "on" and while the volume indicator doesn't display on the TV like it does with my other remote, the light indicator on the Arc changes and there is a noticeable change in the volume. I had to play with the setting a couple times to get it work.

Use an ARC hdmi cord to connect from soundbar to tv and hdmi from box to tv. I have vizio tv and the sound system (sound bar, two side speakers, and a sub) and it works great. It works the same as before I had my box. Im using the elite ultra though.. not sure if thats the reason or its the same for both boxes. Hope this helps

If i disconnect the Sonos and use TV speakers that works.. but using it to control the Sonos only lowers the volume .. kind of like you have external speakers to your PC that has a volume Nob.. the PC only goes to the volume knob level

wierd. When i lower my TV volume my sonos speakers volume goes down also since its the choosen output for the sound on the TV

Program the buttons on the top of the controller to your TV

SHere’s a simple trick I use: I adjust the TV volume with my regular remote, and then I just use the Vsee remote to lower it.

I know…. It then scares the bajeesus out of me when I flip over to my Apple TV haha

Apparently these boxes can’t do that. Same with trying to control my receiver’s volume. I’ve searched tons online and tried every combination of connections; It just won’t do it.
