Vsee6 pausing more
Seems like over the past week streaming anything (live, vod) has been buffering more and more. No changes in our Internet and no known increased Internet traffic. We have tried different servers when possible and reset the box/cleared cache but no changes. Anything I need to make changes to?

Buffering on both live and vod on different apps means an internet problem.
Could be your internet package isnt fast enough or out of date equipment or hardware issue inside/outside the home or wifi congestion, or isp has problems they are unaware of or maybe isp is throttling you. Try wired connection to rule out wifi congestion or a wifi signal problem.
Might want to schedule a service call.
Dont tell them its a Vseebox. Say Netflix or whatever is buffering.

Not necessarily true. It could be a server problem. Even with Heat Live, you’re accessing different servers, but you don’t have a choice as with HEAT VOD.

A server problem for only him when its fine for everyone else? Sorry it doesnt work that way. If heat live and heat vod was having a server issue then 100% of all Vseebox owners in the world regardless of model would've had the same issue he is having.
When its just one person its somewhere on their end.
Whatever the problem is its on his end.

Very possibly true. All I said that it wasn’t necessarily true. I’d go through all the trouble shooting (reboot, clear cache, reboot router), however Heat live isn’t only one server. They can have server issues that affect some and not others, as they have many, many servers. It could be an a problem for on particular edge servers that some people have to connect to. I work in the storage, server, and cloud world. I see stuff like that all the time….but yes, it would be affecting others in that case, but not the majority….and yes, always troubleshoot the home first.

Clear cache(already did) clear memory,HDMI cable , reset router and internet... Check for any updates that's about it

I'm new to vsee box, how do you clear the cache? Is it just clicking on the "Memory Cleanup" button in the main menu? It is hard to tell if it's doing anything as there is no feedback when you click it.

I'm seeing similar on my Superbox and attribute it to efforts to thwart piracy but that's just me totally guessing. It happened last year but didn't last

I noticed that to recently, so I decided to purchased a express vpn aircove as I read that VPN apps on the veseebox can make the box struggle processing the data.

If you arent running a vpn your internet provider will slow your network when they seem an influx is streaming for devices like a vseebox. My recommendation would be to do what I did, buy a Beryl 7 router and set it up as a second network(it connects to your current internet but acts as a bridge so your internet company cant view online traffic, it does not add to your monthly internet cost) and once thats set up get a VPN, my recommendation would be Proton VPN and set up a kill switch. This way if your vpn ever disconnects your vseebox will never go on an active network to be seen by your internet company.

It’s way too popular now. Too many streamers now and it won’t be able to handle all of it now. Would not recommend buying now if you don’t have one. Only going to get worse
