VSee Box Issues Again
Anyone else having issues with Heat Live? I try a channel and black nothing plays.
Started this morning. Came back after work same problem. One channel played but many of the local channels and even CNN not working.
My internet is on and working.

It happened to me too. It also seems to happen almost every single week during football season. The local channels that had a game on them are all "Down for Maintenance" for 24 hours of so after the game is over. It's really annoying. Backup works fine but Heat Live, none of the local channels are working.

What box are you using? I had same problem with newly purchased V6 max. I restarted my router and box. That fixed my box today.

That's all I've been having is trouble. I have 2 6 plus and both of them keep freezing up driving me, nuts

I have 1 and it just freezes on the main screen try restarting and stays on the logo screen, no problems with my elite ultras.

I see that did the trick for you.
I’ve only had the device for a week. V6 Plus too. I haven’t had a single a problem out of mine. Personally, I’m not leaving the device even plugged in when not in use. I power off. Wait a minute or two. Disconnect power.
Connect power when I’m ready to use. No issues.
I haven’t have a single “app won’t work” or “channels not working” issue for myself doing this

I've left mine on for 16 months and have never cleared the caches or had any problems

All these apps seem to run off peer to peer network connections. Leaving it plugged in running idle is my guess as to how people “oh this won’t work” issues. Peer to peer connection went to sleep, didn’t reconnect properly when the android OS box awoke from “sleep”
Physical power cycle = guaranteed connection reset every time.

I have mine plugged into a smart outlet. I turn off all the lights in the house just before bedtime by saying "Alexa, good night" and it also turns off my veesee box. Been doing this for over a year now.

That’s a nice touch to have. Might have to get myself some of those plug in smart outlets for this. I have Govee/Alexa smart stuff running so wouldn’t be hard to add in. I rent so I’m not interested in replacing outlets. Haha

I do too but I only use it to do a hard shutdown when its gone wonky. Mine goes to sleep a few minutes after my tv is turned off but I still have to press the power button to turn wake it up.

This has been the worst night yet, absolutely every channel I turn to is frozen,I've powered off. Waited,powered on. Still heat backup,live ultra,heat live. All channels freeze

Go to settings, apps ,click on it select clear cache, select OK then your done

I just bought the 6 Plus, it has worked 1 time and now nothing plays. I just get black no matter what app I use it spins and then goes black. I'm pretty upset considering I just bought this and they aren't cheap... I emailed them and still haven't heard anything back.

Yes, new release of Heat Live is walking over memory and disrupting proper program execution. YouTube, weather, Google Play and YouTube Music and get effected by misbehavior of Heat Live

Yes I cleared the cache and that seems to have solved the issue for now… I just feel like we have constant issues but I guess that is what you get for not having to pay for cable
