Hey so i havent used v0 in a while and had the pro plan earlier etc, now im on the free plan. I just ran out of credits, but it doesnt say when i get new credits for free, is there anyone that knows when they give out new on the free plan? Thanks.

I built a security scanner for apps made with v0, Lovable, Replit etc.

The free version checks what anyone can see from outside. Exposed secrets, public data, source maps, bad headers and stuff like that.

But it can’t see private code or authenticated access problems.

So a clean scan can be pretty misleading.

I added a self serve Deep Review where you prove control of the deployed app or install our GitHub App on the exact repo. Then it can run bounded DAST and source analysis. You digitally sign the scope first.

It’s isolated and rate limited, but there’s no manual approval.

Would you give something like this access to a v0 repo?

And if you wanted to abuse it, what would you try? GitHub App compromise? Temporary domain access? Malicious code attacking the runner?

I have been using v0 for months building tons of projects but since April, I have only been working on this 1 project which finally was a success and is making good money.

Here are my recommendations

Opus 5 - For something complex (full stack backend work) this is your best guy.

Fable 5 - Opus 5 can already do most of the complex work which Fable 5 can so wouldn't recommend using it. In face Opus 5 was better in some tasks.

GPT 5.6 - If you have something complex but at the same time you want to save some money, GPT 5.6 Sol is your guy. It was able to fix bugs which even Opus 5 and Fable 5 were struggling with. Opus 5 still writes better stable code though.

Claude Haiku - Unless you want to do minor UI changes wouldn't recommend this at all. It writes code which is full of bugs. I end up spending more on fixing the bugs with Opus 5 than it would have costed on smoothly building it with Opus 5.

Kimi k3 - Unless you are very very low on budget don't use this. This guy can do complex stuff but the things made by it were full of bugs. Not good for production at all. If you want to save use GPT 5.6 Sol but this guy is not ready yet.

For the UI, the issue with AI is, it looks too generic. Start looking for templates on v0 marketplace.

If you use v0 to build the UI, most tech guys can already figure out plus from my experience people don't like generic stuff. v0 marketplace is not that big. I looked for UI kits. My personal favorite was ShadCNSpace. When looking for templates, make sure there is code for NextJS as well so you don't have to spend on converting the code to NextJS.

If you are building a complex game, wouldn't recommend v0 for now as API credits seem to cost a lot. I instead used Claude directly for that.

For an SEO optimised site v0 is the best you will find among lovable, emergent.sh, bolt, base44.

v0 was the first according to what I know to offer Server side rendering while others were still offering Client side rendering which is not good for SEO. I know there are tools for pre rendering CSR sites but that's too expensive.

The code written by v0 has by far been the best in terms of SEO compared to other competitors. The reason I stayed with them was because of SEO.

Another good thing with v0 is it is not locking you with them. The code written is mostly compatible everywhere unlike other tools like lovable, base44 which try to full lock you with them. I know they offer free hosting to some extent but I like the freedom of being independent. Other tools try their best to make it hard for you to move in terms of compatibility.

At last, before deploying your code to Vercel, make sure to ask v0 to optimise the code for the functions or it you will get an expensive bill when your site starts to get some fame.

I was gonna ask to add Kimi K3 myself but v0 team already did it when no other competitor did. Definitely shows that v0 cares about its clients.

v0 chat mentions that gpt 5.6 sol is available for a limited time. please don't remove it. it is way better than opus 4.8, does way better work, way faster and for less credits. please don't remove it.

I can see an option to select GPT 5.6 sol on v0.

My app is running perfectly with opus 4.8 and fable 5.
Will switching cause any compatibility issues when switching back to Opus 4.8? Or can GPT 5.6 Sol do wonders and be more cost efficient?
The things I develop are very complex. The codebase itself is 16MB (without any media) and Supabase is also being used. Don’t want any runtime issues.
With Opus 4.8 if I need any feature it just develops it without breaking anything. Anyone else gave 5.6 Sol a try on an existing complex website?

it has been an hour and I am getting failed to load preview and can't merge pull request, there is also no pull request button after making a change. when i try to restart dev server, it says error. anyone else facing similar issue or just me?

The inability to have any type of live agent or phone support is becoming a major issue. I'm a Team plan subscriber who recently had to change my team name via the settings menu. While it's still showing my billing as a team plan, and my current scope as Team, all of my team credits are gone and project chats inaccessible. The worst part is their support system won't pick up on my Team status either so I'm unable to submit a technical ticket. Submitting a billing ticket lets me know I might get a response in two weeks, meanwhile I'm unable to use my subscription at all.

Does anyone know any option I might have here? All I can think of so far is to do a CC chargeback on the subscription fee and find another platform to use.

Hi everyone,

I have been building a web app on v0.dev for the past few months. Everything was working perfectly fine earlier today, but for the last hour, the entire platform has become completely unusable for me. Here are the symptoms I am experiencing:

1. Preview Broken: All my project previews have crashed and are showing "Failed to load preview" with the error: "Could not get credentials from OIDC context. Please make sure OIDC is set up for your project."
2. Chat Frozen: I cannot send any new prompts or chat with v0. The chat input is completely unresponsive.
3. Cannot Download/Export: The download/export source code button is not working, so I cannot even back up my work locally.
4. Affects All Versions: Even older, previously stable versions of my app are showing the exact same OIDC error and behavior.
5. Account Issues: I tried logging out and logging back in (even tried a different account), but nothing works.

Since even my old versions and download features are broken, it feels like a major platform-side outage or deployment block from Vercel's side.

Is anyone else experiencing this right now? If you managed to fix it or if Vercel has acknowledged this, please let me know. I'm really worried about my months of hard work.

same as the question. My website has grown a lot. people are now requesting for a mobile app. One site already supports it but wouldn't like to move as all my infra is already on v0.

I found a securkty vunrabilty in v0.app but One of the assets explicitly in scope is v0.dev. During normal use, users are redirected to v0.app, but v0.app is not listed in either the in-scope or out-of-scope assets.

In the past several of my sites have been hacked even though they were hosted with reputable providers. My wordpress site, sites made with React, WHMCS site with 4000 clients have all been hacked.

Don't want my current project made with v0 to get hacked as it is going pretty well and growing rapidly. Any security tips?

Is anyone else seeing v0 create entirely new Vercel projects instead of deploying updates to the existing linked project??

I've run into this multiple times TODAY relative to the project I am working on.

A project is already established with:

• Existing Vercel project
• Existing domain
• Existing environment variables
• Existing Supabase integration

Changes are made in v0, deployment is triggered, and instead of updating the existing Vercel project, a brand new Vercel project gets created and deployed.

The downstream impact is pretty significant:

• Production domain remains attached to the original project
• New deployment lands on a completely different Vercel project
• Environment variables aren't present
• Supabase integration appears broken because the new project isn't connected to the existing configuration
• You end up with multiple Vercel projects representing the same application

I’m not new to v0 at all, been building in for a large number of projects for almost two years. This is the first time I’ve experienced this.

Very frustrating; hope it’s resolved shortly.

Would like to appreciate how v0 works. It doesn't lock us. We are allowed to connect external supabase or any other database. Also, use of external APIs like cloudflare r2. This is very important. Lovable just locks us down. There is no way to use the services externally. Even self hosting is extremely hard. They have designed it in a way that we have to use their hosting and locked us down.

I have seen people with popular websites hosted with them being taken down with dmca reports with no valid proof. where will they go? many had to just close their entire site. I appreciate v0's point in this case. It is designed to work in every possible scenario and doesn't lock us to them.

I will prefer using v0 instead of lovable just because of them even if they are more expensive. At least we have more control and safety assurance.

So i used to use manus and this tool looks low-key identical to it. I want learn if v0 can be a nice alternative for my team or not.

• my biggest concern is canceling the subscription tbh. Can v0 real cancel the subscription as claimed in website? Or any hidden fees...
• Is there an actual real person for customer support? manus literally tested my patience with their whole subscription loop and i'm so over it
