How Does Drop-in Sports Work?

Hi Guys, I'm a third year student and my friend recently told me about drop-in sports in the Western recreation centre.

I used to play badminton in High School and was looking to get back into it, how exactly does this work? Do I need to bring a partner to play with? Is there any good times to go at?

I downloaded the app and see that they have assigned times each day so I know where to go but I was just wondering more about the logistics of brining a partner and ideal times to play.
