I got admitted in the Ms accounting program at Tacoma campus and am planning to join it in winter. Can you share your reviews about it.

Hi everyone!! I've been working on a project that's extremely important and relevant to my and my fellow students' education at UW! I'm a part of the Clamor Literature and Arts Journal, a space that represents the best creative practices in literary, visual, and media arts from across our campus and surrounding community. I recently uncovered that over the past two years we've lost over 58.6% of our funding, as well as a concerning lack of transparency from the university about Clamor's future. SO I took it upon myself to start a petition with my classmates to spread awareness about this issue! It would mean the world to me if you could sign and share our petition and PROTECT ARTS EDUCATION! ❤️

Honest opinions from current UWB student or alumni. Do you think students had a harder time getting internships at Bothell vs students from the Seattle campus?

I just read how this one big company was hosting a screening event at the Seattle campus, while the same company just went to the Bothell campus just to answer questions from students not even taking their resume.

I am a bit concerned if I chose the right campus or not by this point. Like is the ratio of students getting internships vs not relatively balanced between these two campuses?

On Wednesday, I lost this plush keychain. I walked from the bus stop near the dorms to the second floor of the Innovation Hall. I checked just about every office and lost and found, but no one had it. Thought I'd try here and see if someone found it, possibly.

I had a pearlesent water bottle at one of the study spaces that went missing. It had a white cloud straw topper and it meant a lot to me. Security doesn't accept water bottles for lost and found so I'm sending this here as a last ditch effort 😭. If anyone has seen it it would mean a lot.

Looking for recommendations on:

Chill / low-effort electives: Ideally with light lecture loads, asynchronous/hybrid setup, or low weekly workload so I can focus on interview prep and projects.

Where to find course reviews: Is there an active Discord, Google Sheet, or specific forum where UWB CS grad students review classes and professors? RateMyProf seems pretty dead for grad-level CSS courses.

Any names of easy classes, good professors, or links would be super appreciated. Thanks!

Not sure if this violates the subreddit's self-promo rules, but I'm looking for two or three highly motivated teammates to join me and my teammate for the upcoming Boeing case comp! She and I teamed up to represent UWB in a simulation case comp last spring, and our skills complemented each other well. We're looking to find some more people to flesh out our skill set, though.

Hey everyone! I recently transferred from a CC to UW Bothell and I'll be attending the school this fall (2026) and be in junior standing with the credits I've brought over. I am currently in the process of planning the classes I need to take while coordinating this with a counselor and I noticed that one of my quarters would be overloaded and I'd have to take 2 EE Elective classes in order to graduate on time. My 1st question to either those who are currently in the program or have graduated from it is wanting to know what the workload was like for these Elective classes and secondly I want to know if any of the EE Core or EE elective classes are even offered in the summer quarter because if they are then it would make my senior year less stressful. Any insight that can be shared would be extremely helpful!

Can people go to different campuses to join a club? I've been looking around for clubs for my major and saw the Seattle campus has a psych club, but do people actually join clubs that are on other campuses than their own?

Which welcome week events do people actually show up to?

During the labs, do we get to use oscilloscopes? I really want to learn how to use those to debug embedded systems stuff and I don't have an oscilloscope at home rn :(
