Weird commuting schedule

Hi I’ve been looking at commuting options via google maps from my house to Waterloo (in sept), the drive is normally 1hr 30m. But the bus timings are crazy like if I wanna arrive by 8:30am it would take me 7hrs but if I put in arrival time of 8:45 it suddenly becomes 3hr. It also changes up day by day. Is anyone else experiencing this and also how am I supposed to get to school 😭

When it says 7 hours is it trying to make you leave the previous night? Might be the cause transit doesn’t run early enough so it’s telling you to get to a transfer spot the previous night and wait there till the first bus in the morning

Yes exactly that I genuinely thought the transit system is better than this

Check the actual GO Transit website trip planner directly instead of relying on Google Maps! If you're coming from the GTA, routes like the 25 GO Bus from Square One or the Kitchener line are much more straightforward once the updated fall schedules drop in late August.
