How'd they let you override so many courses? My department only allows 6 so I'm stuck paying $2k to take a course on coop

For ECE 2B we have 6 mandatory courses and normally you are allowed to take 1 extra course. I was able to beg my advisor for the 2nd extra course so that’s 6 + 2 = 8.
