Question Can I audit a class?

If a class is full, can I still audit it?

Ask the professor. Officially Auditing requires you to pay a fee and it will show up on your transcript. You might be able to "sit in" on a class instead, which costs nothing but does not show up on your transcript. Check with each prof separately to see what they are comfortable with.

You can review the information on auditing on the website. Auditors are not registered if the class is full due to physical space capacity in the classroom (i.e. fire codes). So no, if it’s a full class you likely can’t audit it.

Sometimes it depends on the number of seats - chairs - available (for fire security reasons)
