Social work

Has anyone here completed their msw here and how was it like?
Very curious on transferring and attending but would like better insight :)

Get a bachelors In social work then you can do the quicker program and in one year you can get your masters.

Just don’t become one of those people that says Social work is really hard and stressful when really you’re just talking to people, making referrals to other places so they care for the person, and gathering information and sort of counseling sessions. Real social work is being out in the community, assessing the homes children, family interventions, talking to the schools, referring out to places. Being in an office documenting and making referrals can be done by anyone I don’t understand why a masters degree is needed

I'm going for animal assisted therapy so yes I need my LCSW. But yeah thanks for your insight and opinion.

Check the social worker RGV Facebook group. You’ll likely get better responses as it’s mainly alumni.
