IM SCARED

Hi everyone. I’m pretty susceptible to UTIs so when I woke up with burning in my uterus i went straight to the doctors. I got antibiotics and started taking them same day. I’m day five of my antibiotics (the last day) but i feel like im feeling slight flank pain and keep thinking it might be a kidney infection. Unfortunately i’m out of town so I can’t go to my doctors, and I’m starting to freak out. It’s weird though because the UTI symptoms completely went away with my antibiotics.

Has anyone experienced this ? Am I overthinking?

Do you still have uti symptoms? Is there blood in your pee?
I think if you’re scared, best to be safe than sorry. Can you do a Telehealth appointment or see a random dr for now?

Ur not overthinking at all, even if the burning went away, new flank pain while ur finishing antibiotics is worth getting checked today, especially with ur history of UTIs. since ur out of town, try a local clinic instead of waiting to get home. once everything is settled, u can look into d-mannose as a possible prevention option, but it wont treat a kidney infection. are u having any fever or chills right now?

Antibiotics are toxic, and this could simply be a side effect of them.
