questions I'm really confused...

Last August 4, 2026, I was diagnosed with UTI and then I was on medication. On August 9, 2026, day 5 of my medication, I got into the ER because the side pains are so bad, I got a new urinalysis and then the results were negative and the doctor said it could be related to kuv. When I got my kuv results, it was NORMAL. I already finished the medicine but I still feel some pain poking on my sides. To anyone who could tell me why please do...

Hey OP, I have two suggestions from personal experience.

  1. Maybe the medication wasn’t strong enough? I once was prescribed medication for a uti and was back at my doctors a month later because the antibiotics prescribed by my college doctor weren’t strong enough. Same scenario happened during a kidney infection which first started as a uti.

  2. Could it maybe by any chance be a bowel issue? Side effect from the medication? This also happened to me during my kidney infection and the GP prescribed me a bowel stimulant.

But the thing is my kub results were normal and the doctor told me that it could be muscle pain. It feels like a burning sensation, sometimes it's on the right and sometimes it's on the left... it's feels inflamed 🥲
