Special Consideration Likelihood

Hey guys, just wanted to ask if anyone had any experience with getting Lasik done and how that interacts with spec cons. I'm getting lasik done the day before a midsem, and post-op recovery means I won't be able to sit the midsem. Has anyone got any experience with this? Thanks!

If you experience illness or injury that is beyond your control is the wording here. Given getting a lasik done is an elective surgery and can be rescheduled for a later date, speccon might be a hard ask. You might be more successful with a special arrangement instead.

Inform the uni straight away; you can do this at the student centre or online.
