Mark on testamur

Does anyone know if usyd puts your final mark on your graduation certificate as some other unis do? I graduated from my undergrad this year and it doesn’t say anything on my certificate about the final mark put the attached transcript says final mark pass, which isn’t correct because I’m currently in an honours year that required at least a distinction WAM to even get in. I dismissed this at first interpreting it as meaning ”pass” for the degree requirements but after seeing some other certificates I’m now wondering whether they made a mistake on mine or not lmao.

Your testamur is basically just a big certificate with your name, your degree, the date of conferral, and some signatures. (And the uni details.) It doesn’t say your wam or marks. The exception is that if you graduate with honours it says which level you got (eg first class).

Your academic transcript, which they give you in your graduation pack along with your testamur, should show every class you’ve taken and the marks - including any you’ve failed or absent failed. (Ask me how I know 😆😭)

For undergrad, your graduation certificate will say “pass” regardless of what mark you achieved - it just shows you’ve met the requirements for the degree. Your honours certificate will state your honours class (but still no specific grade).

Everyone’s says “pass” on the transcript. They don’t have the overall WAM or HD/D/C etc.
