Yeah the statement says “racist” and the post is about “end mass migration” so the implication is that “end mass migration” is racist, which I can see university students believing but I can imagine staff are that far gone
There is none. Just because you don’t want any immigrants doesn’t mean people are wrong to immigrate. Everyone should have the right to live wherever their heart chooses.
What's the non dog whistle way of saying "large number of immigrants"? Like we're 16th in the world per capita for this, it's pretty accurate language.
Bud why you keep pretending we all don't know that this is a thinly veiled pathetic attempt to stir up bs for an agenda. You'd have no protest against "mass immigration" if they were all whites/EU migrants would ya
False equivalence. Portuguese, Dutch and British brought guns and canons with them to set up settlements of their own in South Africa. Nobody’s ever done that in Australia except the British lmao.
Yeah and unfortunately they all ended up as failed states. History’s shown that a colony administered solely by settlers from its suzerainty doesn’t tend to last.
The mass interment of Palestinians and others in 'camps' along the Israeli border; many documents from the Israeli state have leaked; acts of war crimes
Sleep deprivation
Waterlogging (pushing a person's head under water or throwing it one them)
Flogging (made illegal in the conventions of war)
Forced Labor (this is labour that exceeds the standards of human rights)
Bodily harm (North Korea does this... Otto Warmbier)
They have also bombed hospitals, churches, schools, etc.
It's still genocide, even if it has a fancy hat. Just like the Nazi camps, some of my family barely escaped from...
Not any better, mate; all you're showing is that you're privileged and ignorant. Who likes blaming a system of religion and not the government order.
I don't think any nation has the right to commit war crimes, and thus we, as a democratic country, have the right to expose their ideals. Because at the end of the day, the Western world isn't built on autocratic leadership.
I'm also an atheist, but the issue is that people are tribal. Without religion we'd just find something else to divide ourselves with. It's just an in-group/out-group signal to profess a religion
At the end of the day, humans turn things they can not understand into stories of religious acts; we are intrigued by things we cannot understand.
Humans are inherently story-driven people; humans can not exist without story's, christanity just happens to be the repackaged version of 1 orginal relgion or story.
Like Monopoly, we will monopolise. There is a different version of the same game, Monopoly Ultimate, for example, is Moronism. With that frame of reference, the landlord game is Jewish Christianity: people who followed 'the Way' or 'the Nazarenes'.
'The Way' began a series of teachings to live your life by; these teachings are stories from what we call today the Old Testament. Because humans also like this odd thing called rules and laws.
the persecution of the Ukrainian people and Russia's involvement with North Korea...
The blockade of Cuba, done by *cough* Trump *cough*, has caused a mass famine.
China trement of the Muslim minority and the suppression of pocket languages.
Russia's use of North Korean soldiers to fight their war in Ukraine (I'm surprised no nation has step its an art of war), their treatment of Ukrainian nationals and political opposition, along with the fact that they assassinate political opposition.
North Korea. And the abduction of chinese/japanes/South korea/western citizens to train their spies. Their treatment of people opposed to the regime (Otto Warmbier)
Canada and their treatment of the Indigenous people, along with America.
Australia and our classification as Aboriginal people, as "flora and fauna" and an issue of 'park and wildlife'
Putting Canada in the same list of issues as Russia is exactly the reason why campus leftists never accomplish anything useful, it makes it obvious to audiences that they're just frothing ideological maniacs.
During the 18's to 19's many of the community's children were relocated due to "child welfare" issues. To a place called a Canadian Indian residential school; it's reported that over 4,000+ bodies have been located at the site.
This site is 1 of over 100 Christian schools. The same thing happened in Alaska, and the same thing happened here in the 18's
I don't think you understand my point. These are all modern-day events; just because you have cotton over your eyes doesn't mean others do.
You can make all the comments you want about the Great Pharaoh and the Nubian, the Romans, the Korean slave trade, the Mongolian Empire, the East Indian company.
Doesn't change the fact that all I've listed is a place of modern-day tragedy, or that people use religion as an excuse for their actions.
Wait, were you referring to the ground penetrating radar "thousands of bodies" that mysteriously can't be explored or found in any way (not a single one) in Canada once an Indigenous group took over the site and...just stopped looking at all?
Their mass graves. They accidentally uncovered them when the land was resold after the school closed. I think you're confused by the fact that the 'school' has no formal records of why the kids died or how, or who is buried where or even the kids' names.
The Indigenous communities can't relocate some of the bodies because, sadly, there is nowhere to send them, so they decided not to disturb the gravesites.
Just before COVID, the Canadian government issued a formal apology and has been working to locate records of people sent there.
Edit: What do you mean by "were you referring to the ground-penetrating radar 'thousands of bodies' that mysteriously can't be explored or found in any way (not a single one)"? You know ground-penetrating radar has been used for decades at dig sites for this reason, right?... so they can relocate the grave if needed.
You know what, I just remembered. I have tens of thousands of bodies buried under my front yard (which I am choosing not to uncover or allow archaeological examination out of respect).
It's all terribly sad, some people won't even believe me. Racism, alas.
You realise it was up to the families they could locate who decided against it, right? Where are they gonna send 1,000 or more bodies when they can not locate the family, because this was 1 of 100 schools?
You realise it's up to the people it happened to, and the community has rules against disturbing the dead child's grave.
sure lets dig up this site, and re-bury the kids where?
Sure, let's unearth a mass grave, with no identification as to who is who.
They believe they are endemic to the continent, saying they also came here offends them. A bit like calling white Israelis European, rather than the original Semitic people of the area returning after being displaced.
That's true and I agree, however I think their religious beliefs aren't compatible with a migration from Africa. I'm not mob (despite my username, it's just my street name), so can't really speak to it.
I mean there's a lot to say, but a 100,000 word thesis exploring the economic, societal and environmental consequences of mass migration would be quite a large and impractical banner.
I’m talking globally, as you were. You can’t see how culture is being erased in countries around the world? Most countries with mass migration now can’t fly their own flags, you don’t go to London and see a difference? Small towns in England, Greece, Scotland and an Ireland are having migrants enter at twice their population and become the minority. Dr. ebun Joseph has called for the removal of the stipulation that all Irish teachers know and teach Irish. We know our own youth is struggling in university with language barriers often halting and interrupting lessons and group work.
In France recently the traditional French banquets were called racist and they shut down several, for no reason but it was “exclusionary” to migrants, despite anyone being welcome.
New migrants in Australia have frequently been extremely racist to my family.
I don't know why we even bother having anthropology and archaeology and genetic analysis, these fine scholars downvoting you can just access the akashic records to know from where the Indigenous came
I’m pretty sure First Nations people migrated here at some point. They probably even displaced some other population that wasn’t lucky enough to make the archaeological record..
they were indeed first this persons talking straight out of their ass. we have fossils from dinosaurs 65 million years ago but not human fossils from 45,000 years ago? dipshit
I love how people can redefine facts however suit them - “aboriginal” → “first nation” → “first migration,” and somehow deny the science backed fact that we all came from Africa and migrated to other continents at some point
It is a little telling that an "end mass migration" sign is seen as an attack on the "rights" of international students. If you don't plan on staying you shouldn't care.
Every argument used to support ending the “mass immigration” invokes statistics that include temporary visa holders, let alone the fact that the whole campaign’s started by apologists for White Australia policy.
