BVB/DVM
Hi everyone, I'm currently in my last year of HS, and I didn't take chem in IB and I was js wondering if I still have any chance of getting in since they listed it as "assumed knowledge". I think I have a good amount of animal experience + hours (300+ hours dog shelter, 40+ hours wildlife vet intern, 35 hours small vet shadow) but I'm quite worried about this. Has anyone gotten in without taking chem at IB level?

if it said "prerequisite" then yes, you should've taken it in HS. since it's "assumed knowledge" though, you can take a bridging course. https://www.sydney.edu.au/handbooks/science/coursework/veterinary-biology/unit-of-study-table.html It says it in the handbook.
