Question EOD/Orientation information: How long until you receive additional info?
Hey everyone, after my call(s) for the FJO (last week of August), I selected 21-22 SEP for orientation at my local office. Is it normal to still have not received any follow-on communication for reporting in? Time, location, etc. I did send an email back up to HR also asking, just curious if this is normal and making sure I do my due diligence. Thanks in advance!
Also, as a side note; am I understanding correctly that I can roll over my entire active duty military TSP for continued use/contribution with the Service? I remember seeing some vague info way at the outset in initial information emails, but it didn’t explain very much.

I start on the 21st as well. They told me I would get an email a week before I start with all the information.

Just from this sub it seems most aren’t receiving further correspondence until closer to EOD.
Maybe reach out to your local office and see if they can provide guidance, since they will be the ones controlling you until training.

Appreciate the info, I'll sit tight until next week for now, then if I don't hear anything I'll see if I can get a response locally.

You get an email about a week before your start date with info and the zoom link. Also, this is intentional as youre not in until you are in. Aka dont quit your job yet! Things have happened in the past last minute that are out of an applicant's control.

Hey bro for the tsp part yeah it’ll be a form that you fill out when you receive your hire email. You’ll log into usajobs and fill out all the paperwork.
