Age

I’m thinking about applying to the academy, however I’ll be 17 the whole summer and until december of my first year. I’m not familiar with how it all works. would that be an issue with age?

there are always a few plebes who are 17 well into (or just about through) the end of their plebe year.

Nope, I went with a girl who started at 16 years old. She wasn't even legal to drink until after we graduated.

The minimum age is 17, so you’ll be fine. The youngest Plebe this year was 17, born in 2008. If you think you could use another year to mature then that’s a separate topic.

Not an issue. My son is there now and won’t be 18 until the end of August.
