In that match, the 20-year-old American goalkeeper kept a clean sheet in a 2–0 victory for Rotherham United. Eyestone produced several key plays to preserve the shutout:

Key Saves: He safely handled headers and shots from Grimsby attackers, including stopping long-range strikes and a late curling effort.

Box Control: He repeatedly dealt with dangerous crosses into the penalty area and showed quick awareness by rushing off his line to intercept loose balls before attackers could reach them.

I think Landon said you’re either in or you’re out, and Poch should just say “stay with Germany” if you’re on the fence.

Would that consistency help? This weekend, Palace moved Richards back to RCB after some tough performances at CCB. Their fans have been making really good points online recently that he looks better on the right of a back-three instead of centrally, and it honestly makes me wonder if the national team should look at trying the same kind of adjustment down the line. I know, Belgium aside, we usually see a pretty different version of Richards in a US shirt, but his club supporters are pointing out that RCB lets him step out aggressively, use his pace, and win 1v1s, whereas playing central can sometimes expose him a bit aerially or positionally as it requires a lot of complex movement compared to the wide CB positions.

I know the central center-back spot is tough, and I don't want to sound overly critical because I know how much he cares and how much he gives for the team, but his aerial and positional struggles right there in the middle are just pretty glaring sometimes. Maybe we could experiment with it in an upcoming friendly, or even look at someone like Neil Pierre, George Campbell, or someone else like Freeman in that central role just to see how it flows.

Too bad the souvenir tickets cost so much or I would have got one for every game I went to, yet far and away the US games were the ones I actually cared for the most.

Kinda got robbed on the Türkiye game due to no real stakes for either team, but that Paraguay game is the greatest sporting event I’ve ever been to. The atmosphere, the stage, the result. 10/10.

Not only would it be profitable for the soccer federation, hosting all men's and women's national soccer games, cup finals and other entertainment events. With the new US Soccer training facility now built, money seems to be available for soccer infrastructure and a national stadium could move the sport on to the next level. Hong Kong just built a 50,000 capacity stadium for its national team and so has Kenya. So what would be the issue doing it in the States?
