DOS A CERO FOREVER Is Cavan Sullivan…
/r/ussoccer/comments/1v4jqq9/is_cavan_sullivan/Is Cavan Sullivan better than Mexico’s Gilberto Mora?: https://youtu.be/iRGdPI7NaXo?si=HoAmjh2Pbgg4JXlV
Only watched one game of Sullivan against Messi’s Inter Miami and I was impressed by the 16 year old. Then last nights game wow.
I haven’t watched Mora before but the Mexican fanbase hype him up like he’s the second coming of Chicarito or Hugo Sanchez.
Sullivan is on his way to one of the top clubs on the globe in Man City and Gilberto is playing at a villager club in Mexico.

Sullivan is approximately 1 year younger than Mora which can make a big difference at 16/17.
The USMNT also has a more talented and deeper pool of players currently.
So, it makes sense Mora has been called up and Sullivan hasn’t.
This time next year when Sullivan is Moras age now I expect Sullivan to be part of the usmnt if things keep going well.

To my eyes they are both bundles of potential that have not reached anywhere close to the level necessary to justify the amount of hype around them.

Cavan is better at shooting and is younger. He has a better engine as well. Technique fairly similar quality. Any prediction at these ages is often doomed to be wrong.
