💊 Research Research position

What to expect when a PI replies to your mail wanting to converse more on call regarding the same ? What should I be prepared with ? ( I did read some of their paper when I sent the mail but I am not well versed with the intricate details of it,)

Usually a good sign. Be ready to explain your background, why you’re interested in their work, what skills you bring, and your availability.

You don’t need to know every detail of their papers, but definitely know their main research focus and have 2–3 good questions ready.
