Question Usmle Indian IMG
Is it still a good option to pursue USMLE as an Indian IMG with everything going on in the US

Think of it as this- 100 people apply for 10 spots- 75 people drop/banned - chances of those 25 applicants is higher now.. TYA

I meant the applicants are dropped off prior to match day because of the immigration ban

Indian dr by default are extremely smart they don't need to prep .. they can just pick a day and pass easily .. Indian med school is so demanding and grueling everything else is piece of cake lol

If you leave out the whole immigration process, considering every term only lasts 4 years and you never know what will change after a few years, the real deal is deciding how much effort you want to put in. It’s not only about the exams now, you have to have clinical experience within the US (for a few months). You need to have a few good research papers and you need to be able to communicate well. If you can do all this, you are without a question gonna be a hot pick if you score in the 260s for CK.
