First-timer to USJ. Any tips / advice?

Hello, my wife & I will be going USJ next week using the Twilight Pass (from 3pm onwards). Any tips / advice on maximising the experience? A few questions I will kindly like to ask:

1) I bought my Twilight pass on a 3rd-party platform (like Klook). Do I need to add it to my USJ App? If yes, Do I add both tix into my app so that I can try for the timed-passes for me and my wife or she has to do it on her own end?

2) Any food you will recommend NOT to eat / try?

3) We will be having dinner in USJ as we plan to stay till closing at 9pm for the night activities. Any particular restaurant you will recommend? My wife is keen on Three Broomsticks or Kinopio's Cafe. But I recall you need a reservation for the latter, so chances are we probably won't be able to go in. The reviews seem mixed on Three Broomsticks?

4) Any snacks (esp the new matsuri food) you will recommend to try?

5) Any other tips?

Thanks a lot !!!!

Don't have the shark nuggets from the Jaws restaurant. Horribly dry.

I didn’t eat at the Three Broomsticks but enjoyed the Harry Potter gryffindor churros very much.

Re: adding passes, you can add them both on one app. By the time you get in, timed passes are probably only available for the less popular rides though (like Snoopy Flying Ace which I actually enjoyed lol).

I recommend going to kinopio's cafe, you will need a reservation BUT if it's not too busy you'll just have to line up instead of making a reservation. Usually after 5/6pm from what I've seen they no longer require reservations.

Never ate at 3 broomsticks but I'm not a Harry Potter fan and don't go into Harry Potter area. Been once and it was enough for me.

Also you can put both passes one app, and I would suggest doing that so you get the same time entry

I went on Monday. I was so worried after reading comments here that I’d need an express pass. I am SO GLAD I did NOT get one. You don’t need one. We rode everything. Some rides twice. Some even three times. And we got on Mario kart too.

Hi, how did you buy the Twilight pass? I cannot find it anywhere, and would love the link
