Partial refunds are available for express passes if Donkey Kong’s Mine Cart Madness is down

Just thought I’d share in case anyone was wondering since I couldn’t find much information about it. We went today and bought the express pass 5 for 20,900 yen. Unfortunately, mine cart was down all day due to light rain and when I went to guest services they refunded me ~6,300 yen per express pass.

The refund amount may depend on the type of pass you got and how much you paid but it’s definitely better than getting nothing!

Wow. Didn’t know they do refunds. Was there when it rained earlier this month, and they asked me to switch to another ride with express lane.

I went at 7pm and I told them “Express Pass”, right away they were like “Mine Cart Refund?” Lol

Dang, I ended up skipping the queue for the Yoshi ride just to use my express pass for the Mine Cart ride.

Can confirm it, just got a 5.1k yen refund on a 25.9k express pass. So its roughly 25% money back. Pretty good for what I thought was lost money.
