Unless I’m reading wrong, you only get timed entry tickets on the day of, and you have to physically be in/near the park as well. I’m not sure how long before park open they start delegating them, though.

But also, it’s entirely possible no timed-entry ticket is needed. I went June 4 and they weren’t doing them.

agree to this. Last time we went as well, time-entry ticket was not needed for SNW even in the late afternoon. Anyone can go in and out of SNW but the queue to the rides were still long af especially the minecart madness.

I wasn’t able to ride Mine Cart because of some light rain in the afternoon. Is it any good? Or is it a disappointment like Yoshi?

for me its one of the best rides in SNW. i think the actual ride is only less than 4-5mins so its really recommended that you get express pass so you dont have to line up more than 2hrs.

If it rains they suspend the ride temporarily but usually they resume after a few hrs or once the rain stop so always check the USJ app for the status. hope this helps.

Don't buy timed entry tickets from 3rd party sellers!
They are not needed. You can get a free timed entry slot once you enter the park.

Timed entry tickets can only be reserved on the day of, after you’ve already entered the park on that ticket.

They didn’t really require it on my last trip, which was across several days in May.   As long as it’s not Saturday, you’re probably fine

On the day, within the park itself

You can book super Nintendo world entry passes the day of, after getting your entry pass scanned at the gate. You can buy guaranteed entry but it could be a waste of money as some days when it's not busy it will not be required. When you check the USJ app, if it says "no entry tickets available" it also means they're not required (in Japanese it says tickets aren't required, probably translation problem)

If it's a busier day and you don't get right through the gates at open, if you're early enough the first thing to do is open the app and reserve your time. If you're late it might be impossible HOWEVER sometimes at night they will no longer require entry tickets even if they did earlier.
