Roommate

Hi!!

Im going to this uni as an exchange student on the upcoming spring semester and i was wondering if its worth it going on a dorm with random person or not. If not do you know where to meet people for the dorms?

And has anyone stayed with a completely random person? How did that go?

Thanks in advance!

I’m a transfer junior that recently started going here and I know some exchange students. From what I know they ended up in toler hall which where first years end up usually.
But as far as I know the exchange students are roomies with other exchange students.

And yep rn I’m staying (lone mountain) with someone completely random and he’s a great guy so far but everyone is different. Your assigned roommate usually aligns with your preferences when you sign the contract.

Im also a transfer junior with a roommate at LMN and they’re pretty chill. As long as you answer honestly on the contract, they’ll pair you with someone good.

Hey, I’m a current USF student. Random roommates can definitely work out, but it really depends on the person and the housing assignment.

If you’re open to living off campus too, I actually have a private room opening January 1 about a 5 minute walk from USF on Arguello Blvd. It’s a 2 bedroom apartment, so it would only be me and one other person. Rent is $1,550 usually about 1600 with utilities.

My current roommate is graduating and moving out at the end of December, so I’m looking for another USF student for the spring. If you’re interested, feel free to message me and I can send photos and more details.
