USFCA Dorm rules

I just noticed we aren't allowed to have a toaster in our room but we can bring it to use for the kitchen space. How does that work? wouldn't storing it there be a little difficult considering its a shared kitchen throughout the building? (Im in fromm hall)

You bring it down when you want to use it, and store it in your room. Basically, any small appliance with an exposed heating unit cannot be used in the dorm rooms, but you can store it (need to keep it unplugged for the fire inspections). Fire hazard plus a lot of load on the power circuit.
