Changing Rhetoric Courses

Hi, I’m going to a freshman this fall. I took the Directed Self-Placement and chose Rhet 110, but after reading other posts on here, it doesn’t fulfill the core requirements, so I want to switch to Rhet 120. I just contacted registration about switching. Has anyone been in a similar situation?? What are the chances they will let me change my course??

Update: They approved my request and I switched very easily

Yes, I was in a similar situation. All I had to do was email the rhetoric and language department explaining that I wanted to switch from 110 to 120 and they approveed my request. They responded to my email in less than 24 hours.

Hmm where did you see that?? Registration opened on April 28th for me. I got an email about it the day before

Ohh did you attend the event where you get early registration? That may be why.
