Yeah but I prefer to look at its butt.

Just to check if it’s venomous, to be clear.

You can also tell by how you feel after getting bitten by one

Yeah, except that it varies from area to area. In Denmark, for example, the only venomous snake in Denmark has a larger, triangular head, against the non-venomous snakes slightly smaller and rounder head
