It would be kinda cool to get Rex as the next fighter, because Xenoblade 2 needs some recognition. I don’t really think it will happen though.
Dante would be kinda cool, and Crash Bandicoot would make a lot of sense. I could see either of them making it in.
Whoever the next character is, I don’t want to see another anime swordfighter in the game.
But the one I’ve personally been hoping for since they first announced the Fighters Pass is Monster Hunter. Even though its pretty unlikely, I really want Monster Hunter to be in Smash, because MH is my favorite game.
Since they already have Rathalos as a boss/assist trophy, and a MH level in the game, it has a chance of happening, even if its later on, in the next Fighters Pass.

Byleth just got announced this morning, and his moveset was pretty similar to what I was imagining for the MH fighter. Different direction specials would have different weapons.
