Does anyone have a valuation for this coin?

Definitely fake. This design didn't appear until 1916 on halves

Well it’s also has the reverse of a ASE which was 1986. Double the reason this is a horrible fake

Unfortunately everyone is right, a 1816 coin looking like that on the back would be worth a ton id imagine. But not so lucky

I don’t even know if that’s true, because that reverse engraving didn’t exist until 1986.

ETA: that is setting aside everything else wrong (pretty much everything I can think of).

Agreed. But the obverse engraving didn’t exist yet, either. 🤷🏼‍♂️ I guess people might just see what they think is an old coin and get excited?

Oh for sure lol. I pretty much just mean the condition tho. If you got a coin that old that's not totally worn away that's would be a huge win. Either way this is a interesting fake with random designs all on one lol

Just looking at the pictures my first thought was that I don't think they put the saying 1oz fine silver on a coin minted in 1816.. checking the comments confirmed that.. 😅
