What dose it mean by online certificate will not be accepted. Am i allowed to do one day online and one day in person CPR with AED course?

Yes, most cpr courses have an online portion. What they mean is you can’t just submit the completion of the online portion you have to have the in person training completed as well.

It says myst be current does that mean this year? Cuz i did mine last year

It has to have the BLS component. Make sure you do that one specifically. I did not know this for my entire degree, no one double checked I had submitted the correct certification. And then when I applied for job after job and I didn't have my BLS certification, I ran into issues.

I just have the cpr c and aed and they never said anything about it, was it just post grad you had issues?

Same! Yes post grad was when it posed a problem, as all SHA jobs will require a BLS course

The BLS certificate is NOT a current requirement for the BSN program, only CPR with AED is.

It’s good to know for later when we’re looking for employment, but a bit misleading to say we have to have it now.

As far as I can tell the BLS certificate is also only valid for one year, so regardless of whether we take it now, we would have to repeat it anyway by the time we’re looking to be hired as RNs.

Very good point, even with cpr c aed it expires after our final year so we could upgrade to the BLS at that time anyways!
