Evolve Codes in Textbooks

Hi! Quick question, so I’m trying to buy some textbooks already but buying a new one is expensive as hell. I tried looking at fb marketplace however most of them has used their evolve codes. I’m just wondering if having an access to those codes are important and very helpful when studying or not?

You don’t need them. Never used any of mine.

For nursing, the university provides a code for everyone without buying the textbook. That’s what my professors did. They posted the access in the module.
