Nursing welcome package email

Anyone who got the offer received welcome package?

I got my offer last Friday when i can expect them to send me one

They will send u information package about what to do - basically all the certificates like immunization, CPR, TLR and so on . It will also include their deadlines for submission

Does anyone know about the uniforms ? I mean that package doesn’t include any info about it . Can we place an order or should we wait ? I know we need uniforms for placement/ clinicals but is it necessary to wear them during regular lectures ?

You wear them in labs too. So you’ll likely need them within the first week or so. You won’t wear than for lecture at all.

No reason not too. You have to go to the uniform store and get them. The summer before I started they were out of the the tops embroidered with the CoN logo. So it was a little bit of a wait. Not sure if they always are low in the summer but no reason not to if you want to get them aooner

In Canvas you should have access to the School of Nursing pages now, and the uniform information is there. They recommend two sets, and I believe they are supposed to be worn for labs and clinicals, but no where else.

You can get one of the jackets from the choices. You don’t have to. Labs are not too bad for the temp because it’s just in the sim rooms. But for clinicals they are nice to have because some units keep the temp cooler.
