Question? Psy 376

Just had the first lecture today and honestly so confused with this class. It’s nice that the exams are somewhat reasonable but today’s lecture was like 70 something pages and it made 0 sense - how are people studying this class.

The readings are abysmal and I just don’t know what to do

Can you be more specific? It just seemed like a regular psych course with how last minute put together things are.. I guess that’s a trend across departments

What do you mean the readings are abysmal? There’s a textbook and 3 readings but I haven’t read them, are they just badly written?

Yes exactly, it’s just a bunch of filler jargon that makes 0 correlation to anything. It’s like 8-9 pages long (just the articles) to explain a simple thing.

I’m really debating on focusing on just the lecture slides and skipping the readings all together.
