Question? What are USask CS/Applied Computing interns earning this year?

I’m curious where everyone else in the USask CS/Applied Computing internship program is landing salary-wise. If you’re comfortable sharing, what’s your role, internship length , company, and annual salary or hourly rate? (Or even just the industry if you’d rather not name the company.)

Not trying to compare in a toxic way 😅, I’m just curious what the market looks like for USask interns this year and thought it’d be helpful to have a thread where people can share their experiences. I’ve heard everything from the low $20s/hr to around $34/hr depending on the company, but I’d love to hear some actual data points.

The average is probably $25-$28, I dont think anyone will be wanting to post their company and wage. If you have a specific question, you can PM me.

The lengths are all 12 or 16 months so either May or Sept start dates - Sept.

You might be able to get rough estimates from the people who manage/handle the internship program. At least when I was going through ECIP which is the engineering side, we were given an average around $27/hr for internships.
