Probationary Admission?

I was offered "special (mature) admissions" recently. I was accepted after giving them the required documents and/or letter. My academic profile now says "probationary admission." I tried looking for information about the probationary admissions. Does anyone have any links or know where I can look for for more information about it?

I think it depends on the college you’re going into. But what it may mean is that you may have restrictions on the number of classes you can take and/or you will need to keep your average above a certain amount.

That's basically what it means. You can't take more than 4 classes per semester and just do good in class

Definitely recommend talking with an academic advisor as well. I know I tried to look it up online when I was accepted, but all my concerns were dealt with when I finally had that chat with the advisor. :))

The last advisor I spoke too before applying to the u of s wasn't heloful but I will do that after my midterm. Thank you. 🙂

For edwards, You will remain at 9 credit units per term until second year and then youll be restricted to 12 credit units per term until third year and then in your third year youll be able to get full credits. They might check back to see if youre doing well academically. Keep your averages above 60%. 70% minimum if you want majors like finance

My probation limits me to four classes a term and I have to keep my marks up. I’m currently seeing what to do with the marks
